Change or be left for dead

This one came by way of MrBrown. The head of Australia’s digital media industry body has told old media: “Grow some nuts”. It may sound funny, but I still wonder how the traditional media still survive today with their stubborn refusal to evolve with the times, and get on with embracing the digital media as a core of their business.

We have seen the coming of digital years ago. I personally stopped reading the newspapers and watching the local news even before we stepped into the 21st century. Gadney is right; most of us have shifted into digital media, and did so happily.

If old media do not move their feet quick enough, I'd have no doubt that Darwin would say "let them die". I certainly have no pity for them.
